Data Sources for Motor Vehicle Crash Injury Research in North Carolina
The following data sources were identified as key for motor vehicle crash injury research. As part of the Data Documentation for Linking Crash and Health Data in North Carolina project funded by the North Carolina Governor’s Highway Safety Program, the data sources were documented according to a standardized template.
Although the documentation will be updated periodically, please note that the data source may have changed their data and/or documentation after the documentation below was finalized. Some data sources also provide their own data documentation online. Links to the data sources are provided below. Excel versions of the data dictionaries are available upon request.
